Bending,fusing of annealed window glass?
« on: March 01, 2007, 08:03:58 AM »
Hi there folks, I have been in the glass industry for 25 years and have wondered about the possibility of bending ordinary window glass of various colours, textures to create works of art.If anyone had any information regarding this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike, welcome to GMB.

We do actually have a forum for 'slumped' and transfer-printed glass. Chance Brothers of Smethwick, Birmingham, England were great exponents of using rolled plate glass in this way:

Also see my site for the Carnival and Tinted glass range, in particular the handkerchief vases.

I'll move this topic to the correct forum shortly.
