I searched for this in Frank Andrews Scottish makers list but didn't find it. I thought it may fill a gap in Scottish Glass history as well as informing myself. My late father was a mens hairdresser in Leicester from the 60's to the late 80's. Amongst his things I found a clear glass block. It measures approx 19cm lg, 5cm wide and about 1.5cm thick. At the top end it has an oval 'watermark' reading: 'FERGO-GLASS' above, and 'RAZOR HONE' below. In the centre of the oval it reads 'Special Process'. At the bottom of the block it reads: D FERGUSON & Co GLASGOW.
Would any of you experts out there be able to shed any more light on this?
