Stripey Ashtray, Murano? Maker?

Hello again kind people :D , Picked this up the other day, sold to me as Murano, unusual piece, could someone confirm if it is indeed Murano and if so maybe even the maker. Thanks in advance, Gill

I like that Gill, cant confirm much, shape looks a bit 'Scottish' to me,(dont know why!)
not convinced its Murano, i would think someone will recognise it :D

You two are quick. Thanks. Yes I will give it a go on the Murano board as well. I dashed off quick for the eye glass Andy but no letters I'm afraid, just a lot of base wear. I think the scotttish idea comes from the colours, got a sort of tartan look to it, let's see....cheers, Gill

These used to appear on markets quite a lot around 15 years ago - we all assumed Italian at the time. But nothing ever proven. I have these in green and in red, both with white flecks rolled in. For all I know they could be Czech or German!
