Whitefriars Glacier Range
« on: March 10, 2007, 09:39:26 AM »
I was fortunate the other day to come across a few pieces of WF Glacier range - some sundae dishes, some 1pt and half pint beer mugs, a water jug and some large hi-ball tumblers.  I've identified (with the help of the catalogues at WF.com) the pattern numbers and dates for everything with the exception of the hi-ball tumblers.  They're either the M33 10oz or the M34 12oz - I can't work out which ones they are because the dimensions don't seem to be listed anywhere - mine are 5.25in/13cm tall - does anyone know?

TIA  :)

Hi Pip,

I just wondered how much your tumblers hold........would it help to identify them if the 10oz/12oz refers to capacity?

Have a good weekend

Hi Cat - yes it does refer to the capacity however I've turned the kitchen cupboards out and can't find my measuring jug  ::)   Cheers for your help though and have a great weekend too.

The same but different.  I also had one in a pale pink but as you say they are very very thin and it didn't make it.

Off to work now  :'(

Thanks again Cat - have a good afternoon at work.  An update for anyone who's interested - I've managed to find my measuring jug (Cat was right about the other tumblers also holding 10oz) and these Whitefriars hi-balls at 5.25in/13cm tall are definitely the M33 10oz ones that go with the M33 2pt water jug.  Anything taller than that I would suggest are probably the M34 12oz tumblers.
