The Glassworks Wicklow Ireland
« on: March 09, 2007, 10:26:14 PM »
My personal piece of Blarney Stone
http://cgi.ebay.ch/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190085063510
has just arrived - to join my two Strathearn "Ice Pool" weights. Let's see whether kissing it through the glass also helps  ;).

Now for my question: the Glassworks in Wicklow don't seem to be operational any longer - at least I didn't find any info on the internet. Does anyone have any info on the makers of my latest acquisition?

Could this be the place? http://www.ivenus.com/finance/features/CP-feature-artistic_glass-wk29.asp

Also found them listed in a directory http://www.image-interiors.ie/directory/commissions/commissions_iframe_content.html as:
THE GLASSWORKS HOT GLASS STUDIO, Wicklow Enterprise Pk, Wicklow; 0404 62048; theglassworks(at)eircom(dot)net: free-blown glass giftware and tableware; presentation pieces and
trophies. [Email address needs the (obvious bits) changing back.]
