ID Large Paperweight / Doorstop
« on: March 10, 2007, 10:46:15 AM »
Help with this very large paperweight although at 2.365 kgs it may classed as a doorstop, it is in near perfect condition so believe it may not be that old, it measures 5" in diameter and 3.5" tall, it does have a rough pontil mark and you can see where it was cut off, looking at the colours it does appear to have Mdina colours, it is not signed

Although unsigned, I agree with the Mdina attribution due to the colors and character of the design. They are known to make some whopper size weights as well.

Roy, maybe you should put this in the glass section also to attract more attention.

Mdina? hmm, not so sure. I have sent an email to a friend who may be able to confirm an attribution. I'll let you know when I hear back from him.
