Bear - Seguso/Barovier?
« on: March 19, 2005, 08:55:52 PM »
Hi
This is another piece i have that i would like to know a bit more about,
he measures about 5" x 4" without getting him out of the cupboard again, i also have another exactly the same only a bit smaller both in perfect condition, they do have some age as they belonged to my Nan.
They look a bit like suguso, but i am no expert, any idea of age, maker and value

You're absolutely right, probably Seguso or else Barovier, top quality, gold dust animal sculpture, as good as it gets really.

Could be bear, could be http://www.hilozoo.com/animals/A_coatimundis.htm

Sorry my estimate on the size was not to good, the large one measures 7" x 4.5" and the smaller one is 6" x 3.5"
