Who was, is Nora Fenton? Murano Label
« on: March 23, 2007, 06:47:11 AM »
I have a bowl with a Murano green and gold label, and also a label which reads, A Nora Fenton Import. made in  Italy.
Does anyone know if Nora Fenton is anything to do with Fenton Glass, or another Fenton altogether?

Who is the maker, anyone know the Murano label?

Any help would be appreciated.

Would appear to be a distributor as several pottery items have also turned up in a Google search and I think the surname is coincidental.

Google for "Nora Fenton", including the quote marks.

Pretty interesting.
I havent seen that label before.
The piece itself I have seen many times before, but with a  J.I. Co. Venetian Glass label + a Generic Red Venetian Glass label. I agree that it is an import label.
Thanks for posting it!
