Hi,  THANKS for that Frank,
This catalogue has such a charm and holds so much information it would be a pity to have " Pulled it"
  Regards Patrick.

A possible St. Albans glass, 4" (10cm) tall, 3" (7.5cm) diameter rim

http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-5839
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-5838 - base

Base features broken pontil, and very seedy glass as described in catalogue. Colour appears to conform also.

www.provence-shop.com  biot glass very similar, even has the ashtray and stubber

Correct observation - the whole collection is identical to Biot produce, including all shapes, the colours and the finish.  "Inspired by Provencal forms" may be the ultimate understatement....
So does anybody know how long they have been in business?

I can also match up most of the St Albans shapes to a 1990 Biot catalogue! Clearly they were the same business, perhaps someone can contact Le Biot and ask. (Sorry no time)

Their current catalogue uses the same pictures, no new lines but 4 pages are dropped. so everything has been in production for over ten years and seemingly from the St Albans... 30 years. Timeless design. The seals on bottles and decanters should contain the word 'Biot' or a blob in that shape.

No that is the mark for Maure Vieille, another glassworks in the South of France but not related to Biot.

Looks to me as though this style is pretty generic, and as full as possibilities as "Murano"
Thank you very much!

Hi Emmi, if you go to the Provence site they show a full image of the storm light, and they look pretty similar, i have handled Biot before and they are quite heavy.
