Connie, that's interesting - like you say the base is very different; it looks as if the edge of the base is slightly less rounded too.

I've done some digging around on Huuto and found these: and these
which include cobalt ones  ::) However, the bases look rather thin. For example, compare to which is the taller size and which is the shot glass  ???. All very confusing!

Other companies did produce Nuutajärvi tableware lookalikes. For example, compare
these Nuutajärvi turn-mould blown tumblers
with these Reijmyre ones

Pip, I agree with you about the Iittala ones, I've several that I use regularly, well made & sturdy!
