Fluted Fan Hobnail Vase - ID = L E Smith

I had no success posting from Geocities for what ever reason. So here is a new attempt from a different ISP

Does anyone know the source of this vase? I have tried high and low and can find no one attributing it to a specific manufacturer although there are a few of them around. Height 8"

My first thought was Fenton. They did a lot with hobnail and this style of vase, but the base on Fentons is round. Not much help, Terry in Iowa

Not Fenton.  I believe it was made by LE Smith.

LE Smith fan vases all have the octagonal foot versus the round foot as Terry mentioned.
