Im Confused Baxter or O'broin

You may recall some weeks ago i uploaded a photograph of what i thought was a piece of caithness glass. http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,11240.0.html

Now ive just been on ebay & come across the following
eBay listing
This one being sold as caithness

And this one whitefriars
eBay listing
Now mine is identical to the one being sold as whitefriars. AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH
Which is which
Im confused please help
What makes it worse is that both sellers apear to know what their talking about. But im sure Anne you know what your on about too.

Well I don't know if the one described as Caithness IS Caithness....but it is not Whitefriars.

I would also say that the one described as Whitefriars is not Whitefriars either.....I have the genuine Whitefriars one in this shape, and a lot of other Whitefriars soda glass, and not one of them has a ground rim.  All have fire polished rims.  The proportions of this one listed do not look right either. Emmi

I would say the so-called "Caithness" one isn't Caithness, it doesn't look substantial enough

In fact, they are *both* Caithness! The lampbases were made in two shapes... and the sales are for each of them. :)
