I thought this might be Stuart but I'm having difficulty finding the pattern.

I have compared it with that of another Stuart piece from the 1950's or earlier. The glass shown here seems more yellow in colour and it doesn't seem as heavy either.

The trouble with these sorts of engraved patterns is that they seemed to be very popular on all sorts of things...which is not vey helpful really but...

No, not Stuart.

The yellowish tinge has most often been associated with continental glass over the years, specifically massed produced Czech - possibly for want of any information being available. The colouring is not a trait of British glass, although it can happen from time-to-time. For instance occasionally pieces of 'leaf' pattern Clyne Farquharson can have this effect.

It doesn't have much of a ring to it when I tap it so probably not full lead crystal.
