Topic: old tumblers

Hello again.
I have some tumbler style glasses that were given to me.
They are fine and delecate with an etched picture of oak leaves and acorns and a large stag.
The etching almost looks sand blasted.
The person I got them from said he buought them ages ago for 5 shillings NZ... that's a very long time ago... from an old lady who said she thought they were late 1800 and may be French.
At this stage I am not able to post an image, although I have one if someone wants to email me I can insert it in a reply.

Even without a picture the probability of them being Egermann is quite big. "Egermann style" is stags and acorns in ruby flashed wares and have been in continuous production since the 1860s. Most likely time period is post-war.

Not ruby flash but definitely Bohemian, either Egermann or one of its neighbours. Timewise could be anything - 1840 through 2004.

Glass collecting and house moving is not an ideal combo.

I really apreciate your info.
The person who gave these to me, told me they are around the end of the 1800 - early 1900. The etching on them has a look of sand blasting about it. Is that possible?
Are you folks happy for me to ask about more glassware that I have... or is that pushing my luck?

If these are end 1800, early 1900, does anyone want to take a punt on a value... the guy that gave me them is interested (as am I).
I am asking about value a lot as I want to learn and understand what I am collecting.
