Kufstein

Vase:

Label:
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-6306

Tall blown vase with a very high kick-up ("waldglas inspired") ;  engraved townscape of Kufstein.

Label saying: J. THURNE (could be one or two letters missing at the end) Kufstein, Tirol.

I could not find Thurne anywhere, could be an engraver or a retailer. Kufstein is the location of the Tiroler Glashütte, taken over by Riedel as their main base ca. 1947.

So inviting speculations please:
- Is this a Tiroler/ Kramsach product from the 1920s/30s or
- Is this a Riedel product engraved locally? or
- is this puppy barking up the wrong tree altogether?

All suggestions welcome.

ThurneS seems to turn up quite a lot of hits.  I was merrily Googling when my whole computer froze and I had to switch it off.   ::)

Yep, Thurner it is. Thanks. And so the blank is a Riedel.
