Aseda Vase
« on: April 10, 2007, 02:43:08 AM »
??? Can anyone help me with the pattern and age of this Aseda vase. I've seen bamboo shaped, but can't find any in this pattern.
Has the label with Bo Borgstrom, Svensk Form. Aseda Sweden.

hmmm that's interesting because there's one on the following site

http://www.glasgaleriezindel.eu/

go to Collections then click on Finnish

But the one on this site is attributed to Riihimaki - not Aseda - so either they've got their attribution wrong (although it's a great site and they look like they know their stuff) or the label on yours is wrong.

I would opt for the site being wrong - they've got 4 incorrect attributions in the Danish section, not counting the blue 'Cascade' gulvase.

I think you're probably right Nic - the vase in this thread doesn't look like a Riihimaki piece.

I've looked at the site, and yes the vase is the same as mine. I think the label is original on my vase, and they have it wrong.
