Hi Lynne, that's what normally happens, did alum bay use more than one lable? i have this nagging feeling i once saw one in black, but it could easily be another studio.

For clarity I have produced a version of my AB logo photo with outlines. The blue dashes show the outer edge of the impressed area. The black dashes show the edges of the raised internal bits. The yellow dashed line shows where the A and B are joined to make one overall shape.

Hopefully, this will help dispel tricks-of-the-mind showing the likes of in-laws etc.  ;D
