You'll have to forgive my ignorance, I have been collecting items over the years, buying certain pieces because I simply liked them. Having enjoyed their company, now I feel I should catch up on their history, just as I have caught up on mine today, discovering my great grandfather worked at Smethwick's Chance Glass Works for 66 years, starting when he was nine years old. I think its called synchronicity.
If any kind soul can shed any information about the three pieces below I would be most grateful. There are no marks on any of them. The pink posy bowl and the art deco shaped blue wall vase have a frosted or sandblasted finish. The green glass of the posy vase is amazingly intense in color. I think they must have been made around the 1940's period... yes?
