Hi there Loveglass  :)

It's often hard to find out exactly where this lovely type of glass bird comes from.  It's been such a popular style over the years that many countries have made it.

To get the best chance of an identification in the future though, it would be best to upload your photograph to our GlassGallery though, as Anne suggested:

Then your photo will be safe with your topic for posterity, as Tinypic links go dead after a while unfortunately.  At some point in the future, someone might come along and give you a positive identification for this item.  :D
