Thanks David, but I really wanted to see Robbo's plate in all its glory.  ;) And wow!  Fantastic!  I'm dead envious, because that's a classy bit of Chance glass.  Well done Robbo!   :D :D

I'm as green as the leaves on the plate too, Max! Well done Robbo, that is a super piece and one of the few Chance designs I really like.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Thanks for the kind comments everyone -- I think it should be Margaret Casson who deserves congratulation! A true 50s classic.
I'm still on the look out for Wild Rice...

I've a whole box of the doilies and florals, so nice to find a piece I actually like  ;D

Here's a couple of circular dishes I found recently. The leaves are a different shape to the three section dish.

Hmm, looks like something different to me. Have they got green edges?

Hi Christine,
Yes they have green edges; apart from the leaf shape everything about them is the same.
The glass is the same thickness, opal flashed on the top surface, same broken zig-zaggy type design on the background (printed in white, underneath the green, difficult to see in my photo). The leaf with the broken green outline has white cross-hatching as the other has, although the cross-hatching on all the leaves is much closer together than on the other dish.

Admittedly the leaves look more like rockets!

That's 7.5 in, which according to 'the book' by Mr Encill would appear to be a bit to small or too large, depending on how you look at it
