Will have to "excavate" under the stairs and see if I can find it.  knowing me though when it comes to light it will be nothing like what I remember it to be  ;D

Well these don't seem to have had stopppers for a very long time as they were filthy dirty both inside and out, and the tops are very narrow just over 1" across, so the outside is clean but the inside is still dusty. ;)

Ah, here we go - patt 7648 decanter - although this time it has 'Rye' printed on it - the one I have a photograph of has gin...
