Topic: Don't laugh at this one...Chinese??

I had to have this from the charity shop 'cos it appeals to my sense of hunour but I am just curious as to it's origins.

I remember seeing a similar face vase in TK Maxx last year, no labels or indications as to maker but a very interesting and fun piece, I wish I'd bought it as I haven't seen any more since.

I did a quick search, but all I could find was this: THREAD

All of the pictures are long-gone, but the 'Beaker from The Muppets' description seems to match. of course, sans images, I could be very wrong.

Thanks for that. Funnily enough the mottling around the top reminds me of maltese and it seems rather heavy for chinese but then they keep surprising us.
