Huge Monart Bowl
« on: May 26, 2007, 09:45:34 AM »
Hi Frank

I thought I would post this bowl which I found this morning , its the biggest piece of monart I have seen, looking through your site it looks like the UB shape, it seems to have silver inclusions within the glass, it measures 18" or 460 mm, stands 6" or 155 mm tall and weighs about 3.85 kgs, excellent condition except for the small knock inside the base, I think its far too big for me to keep as it takes up nearly the whole table, surely there could not have been many this size made, would the size make it less desirable

The silver is Mica.

They do not come much bigger, although I did once have a bigger one I think it was 24". Murder to sell as few people can dedicate the space for them. Accordingly a very low price.
