someone is living in hope! And I thought that I had seen it all yesterday. I went to the Luikse Markt in Utrecht and a lady was selling a torpedo vase (shape 1365), I picked it up and thought that the price was E12,50.........oh no! she wanted E125,00. I laughed and wished her the best of luck.
As for literature on Scandinavian glass, I only have four books at the moment:
Fire & Sea
Smoke & Ice
Scandinavian Glass, creative energies
I also refer to the information in Andy McConnell's book. Millers 20th Century Glass.
All have pro's and cons.
Most of the information that I have on Riihimaen pieces, comes from my own collection of 42 different shapes and growing (limited to 6 different colours + colourless).
As for being sure about the 60's; I can only go off the information that I have to hand, but I have only seen these vases in 1 book and that states 66-67, all the other information I have found, that states the 70's, has been on websites selling items.
