Topic: Oil lamp shade? Help please

Hi. I've had this in the garage for maybe 15 years. It is open at top and base so assume it is an Oil Lamp Shade. Pure white glass with nice outside texture. 10 inches tall.  Can any help with some ID or at least confirm it is for an oil lamp.TIA  Emmi

PS A little problem here..........no option showing to add photo........HELP
