As I collect with my pocket change I keep in mind Mrs. Applewhaite-Abbot who amassed a large collection of paperweights with the most expensive weight being 35 pounds. When she died she left her collection to her daughter. After two museums declined the collection it was auctioned off by Sotheby's over a period of four years. The total was 90,000 US in the 1950s. She was one of the owners of the famous Pantin silkworm weight. She paid 26 pounds for it.

So I happily collect and enjoy the hunt. I doubt I will end up with something like a Pantin in my collection but overall I look for craftsmanship and with my limited means I have built a nice one. For me, sulphide bargains are a boon.

Many of us are pocket money collectors hoping for truffles. I read or heard something recently that said experiences were what made people happy not things. I reckon we have the best of both worlds.

The answer to your question Christine is, it's not very rare or valuable, so keep and enjoy it and the memories it holds or sell to someone who wants it and put the money to something you want more.
