Tamara Aladin piece signature

One for Pip and Nic - have either of you seen this signature before on this Rihiimaki piece? It's probably perfectly normal, but I just wanted to check. 250128661223

Added later: For reference, this model is on p. 211 Miller's 20th-Century Glass 2006, McConnell, pictured on the top row, second from the right. The marking in question is W2519.

Hi Cathy - hmmmm not sure about that at all. I know that some Riihimaki is signed but I've never personally come across a piece that was - every single piece I've dealt with was unsigned.  I'd always assumed that the ones that were signed would have the designers name on them.  Della has loads of Riihimaki - I wonder if she's got any signed pieces - yoooo hoooo Della....

Cooo eeee, Pip  ;D I haven't got any actually signed by Tamara Aladin, but I have seen a gorgeous tornado vase that was. It went for lots of money too (on ebay).

The one in the link looks a bit iffy to me. It is definitely a Riihimaen piece, but the number doesn't coincide with the pattern number of the piece, so I am not sure what it is supposed to refer to, or whether it is genuine or added after the fact.  ??? I have 3 of these vases and none are signed, or numbered in any way.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

Thanks Pip and Della. McConnell says that Aladin's work is sometimes signed Rihiimaen Lasi Oy Tamara Aladin, so this one just struck me as decidedly strange. This seller deals in both repros, reissues and some old stuff.

I have come across sigs in this manner, often in combination with the circular etchmark. Not sure if these are supposed to be model numbers or order numbers - but they are invariably quite crude.

Hi Ivo,
I've come accross scratched numbers signed on the base, many of my pieces have numbers and etched marks, but they normally refer to the pattern number (or shape) of the piece. The number on this piece doesn't coincide with the number that it was given (i.e. pattern/shape no.).
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.
