What is the best Murano piece from your collection!?!?

Paradise Trader: "I have seen this one attributed to Cenedese in fact it's in Pina's Century 20. "

Although the decanter certainly could be cenedese, unless it had a label on it, I'd take the attribution with a grain of salt. Some of the attributions in those books are based on attribution from auction houses, owners, etc., and not really documented.

--- Quote from: "glasswizard" ---As with any collection I think, there is always one piece that you are not sure of. Is it Murano or not? http://tinypic.com/53of2u  I love the shape of this and the color and as I said, I am not sure if it is murano, but still a favorite. Terry

Yes this is made in Murano at 99%.
It can be a piece of 1920 approx. or a reproduction made later.
It's a simple, but nice piece

Ho no, it isn't one of the last lino's works. I can't afford them, I have just a pair of older pieces made by Tagliapietra, when his prices were very lower. That one was made by a good local master glassmaker on my request (and honestly I had in my mind also the wonderful tagliapietra vessels).

The goblets were made by Carlo Tosi "Caramea" for Barovier&Toso during the '60. A reproduction was made few years agoo to present an international goblets exhibit in Murano.
