Another way to contact Siddy is through the new recruit to Glassoholics; Neville Pundole.  That's where I met her and her husband.    :D

It's amazing how different the examples Frank posted are to those Sue posted. Based on Frank's I wouldn't appreciate her work, but I think Sue's examples are lovely.

Siddy Langley has her own website (as also shown in Frank's page):
http://www.siddy.com/

She shows galleries of both recent and "older" items. I don't think the vase in question fits with Siddy's past or present work, but it would be worth dropping her an email to make sure.

  :-\

At the time I bought mine she was just giving up on art pieces and switching to commercial pieces, which is why I never got any of the Laytonesque pieces. Still she has become commercially successful on those I am just disappointed she did not pursue and develop  the potential she had in the art pieces. I sold my lot to Neville earlier this year, such early pieces are in demand.

How strange Frank.  I saw you had a pic of the nude chap on bike on your site.  I saw that piece on display (not for sale I think) when I went to Neville Pundoles gallery - when I bought my Siddy vase and met her too.

Do you think the piece I saw was actually your piece?  If so, small world, eh?  I thought Neville said he'd bought it on Ebay....

Sue, your images have been munched by Tinypic - do you still have copies and if so can you add them back into the topic by way of a reply below please?  Many thanks. :)
