yup, good honest shelf wear on the bottom. My best guess is 1920's Czechoslovakia, specific maker unknown. Nice piece and you should do well with it! (don't know if I will be the high bidder, but will sure give it a shot!)

Hi Ed!
Not frosted, looks like regular cut and polished. BUT thanks for that tip, I need to get a better photo of that, too.
Dave, thanks, whew! Glad it's an older one. I'll be pulling for you!

Kelli
the new pieces are just as expensive as the vintage ones! I thought my vase was a good deal when I bought it.

Kelli, if you're still around, do you still have these photographs?
We'd greatly appreciate people not deleting photographs from
The Glass Gallery
, if possible.
There's no space restriction, and the threads make much more sense with images than without them. Thanks.

Cathy, I will search my archives and see if I can find them - if so, I'll re-upload to the yobunny storage. I haven't used that storage in a couple of years, so I don't know what could have happened to the pics...odd! I'll let you know if I can find them.

Success! Glad I don't throw anything out.
