This is my latest find at the flea market a gorgeous perfume bottle ...not sure if stopper is original. It is 8.5 cms high without the stopper and has a polished base. The same figure is on both sides  and it is part frosted. Can anyone help with an ID please?

Hi Simba,

If you are still searching, here is my two cents. If the stopper fits securely into the bottle and does not fall out if you lift upside down (over a soft-landing, mind you), then it is likely the right one. Cant tell from your photos if it "fits" the style, your bottle appears frosted mostly, the stopper appears to be clear. If it fits its overall appearance and ambiance of the bottle and the stopper fits as described above,  you likely have a winner.

As to the maker of this bottle, looks like it was mold blown/manufacturer. Again better photos would help. I can recommend that you go to www.perfumebottles.org and write to our Archivist. If this was a commercial bottle (ie held perfume at one time) then she will likely be able to help (again with better photos).

Cheers,
Susan

Some better photos...looking at the link Susan sent me and a book on Czech glass I have recently purchased, this figure appears on a Hoffman bottle but a larger bottle of a different shape. The shape on my bottle appears to be similar to Ingrid ones. The stopper is definitely not original it is far too long for the neck of the bottle though I can twist it tight to stay in. My bottle is frosted but the highpoints of the pattern appear polished.

Pamela has a Hoffman catalogue on her musterbuch website, it might be worth a browse through?

I just saw this posted this morning and was going to write you. That bottle belongs to Paula who is a Czech bottle collector. So glad you got the info!! You could ask to join the Interactive group and post your bottle and the photo of Paula's and see if anyone has that stopper. At the IPBA convention, we have a Parts Exchange, and its like a feeding frenzy of sharks. Good luck!!
