Made in Finland, Riihimaen?
« on: June 25, 2007, 03:07:24 PM »
Hi all,

I have seen this shape of vase for sale on ebay, attributed to Riihimaen Lasi Oy. Now, I know that it was made in Finland, because it has a sticker on it saying so, but I haven't seen this label on any other Riihimaen pieces.

The colour matches the other pieces that I have, but is it a Riihimaen piece, or is it possible that it is a Nuutajarvi item?

Thanks in advance  ;D

Hi Della,

It is Riihimäen, I believe designed by Aimo Okkolin. I have seen this label before on Riihimäen pieces, mainly on the turn mould blown vases.
I have this vase, with this label, in blue.
