Pink glass bowl/posy holder, much like Cloud Glass
« on: July 03, 2007, 11:01:24 PM »
Now here's something strange, maybe from the outer limits.  :o

It's made in three sections and it is ground flat on the base rim. I think the rim has been folded over.  :o

This light pink bowl has white streaks in it when you place a dark background on it. When it has a white background or when it's held up to the light the streaks are brown.

To prove that I'm not going nuts here are two photo's.

It's definitely interesting, for a moment I thought you had a Murano bowl but it's not  ;D. Your streaks look like opalescent glass to me rather than just white glass, i.e. a reheat effect. Are the streaks in it or on it, can you tell?

You could keep nuts in it of course

(After typing a whole paragraph describing my bowl and then accidently deleting the paragraph)

It's definetly inside the glass.  ;D
