Marigold Carnival Glass bowl - ID = Imperial "Wide Panel"
« on: July 08, 2007, 10:41:31 PM »
I've been right through 'A Century Of Carnival Glass' and I've been on Cloudglass.com and Pamela's site. It's similar to Davidson's pattern no 732F only the flutes on mine are wider. The pattern can be felt on the inside of the bowl. It is just over 9.5 inches diameter and just under 2 and a half inches high.

The iridescent's has a green & purple effect to it and when the marigold ends it has a rainbow effect around the bowl.

Thanks Tony.

It appears to have been ground down on the base but not on the bottom, around the side of it, weird.  :o

Hi,

In shape and size it is more like Davidson's S696D. Although the S696D is I believe taller.

Interesting

It looks like it could be Imperial's "Wide Panel" bowl (USA) with a rolled rim.
