Large glass fish & bird - Signed. ID = Licio Zanetti
« on: July 11, 2007, 07:57:04 PM »
I wonder if anyone can assist Andy McConnell in discovering the maker of these pieces?  The bird is 18cm and the fish is similarly large.  Both are signed with the same signature, but I can't work it out.  I'm leaning towards Italian - can anyone decipher the signature or recognise these items?

Thanks!  :) :)

Hi Max,
The signature could also start with a 'J' (that is how I write a J anyhow), but I can't get the photo to enlarge so I can have a better look at it.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

Or, could it be Zanetti? Like on Pip's fish here

Oooh well done Della!  Thank you!  :D  Cheers for having a similarly signed item in your shop Pip too, what brilliant teamwork you two!

I'll pass the information on as I'm not sure Andy will read this.  I expect he'll be rather chuffed.  :-* :)

You're welcome Max - this is one of the reasons I'm keeping an archive in my shop of Sold items rather than just removing them altogether - I knew it'd come in handy at some point!

You are more than welcome Max  ;D It is always lovely to give a little back.

I love looking through your shop, Pip. The photos are so fabulous! (and the information too)
