Cazza, is this the base to your weight?

http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-7909

if so, I can see a Kerry or IOW flame mark in the middle?

If not, which weight is it for?

Thank you very much!

Hi josordoni
You are right there is a mark but I did not know it.  I thought it was where it was broken off. But now you have said the flame mark yes that is what it is. Is Kerry IOW any good, as I said before is looks a nice item to me. ;D

It is a nice maker - Isle of Wight (see here for more details) is regarded as being the better maker, (for better read slightly more expensive) , Kerry Glass was a short lived venture in Ireland from the same makers, but this particular style is still current, fairly common and whilst decorative isn't regarded as particularly cherishable.

But I like the swirls!

Thank you very much!

Many thanks for your help Lynne, I am a learner as you probably know.  :D And I do not know what I would do without this place. And I learn't about Kerry IOW glass today!! I am well pleased.
