unusual uranium sulphide paperweight
« on: July 17, 2007, 12:23:19 PM »
i'm thinking on the line's the weight could be Czech, it's the 1st time i've seen a weight like this, it measures 3" across and 2.75" high and a snapped pontil mark, the sulphide is set on a multi colour chip ground, the sulphide is of a sailing ship which bares a name which could could be A NVESS  but not to sure,

Nuess is in Germany and appears to be situated on the Rhine (thinking sailing ships?).  I wondered if the 'V' reads as a 'U'...  Possibly totally irrelevant information here..  :P

Not Nuess - would be Neuss.
