Wonder if anyone can help me ID this vase?  It's a turquoise blue colour with little knobbles pulled to the surface, it's signed to the base but I can't decipher what it says and I don't recognise the style.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Anne, I tried to re-photograph the signature but I couldn't get a clearer image so instead I've just cropped and re-sized the existing signature image.  Hope this helps...

Nope, I still can't make it out Pip, sorry. I thought it looks a bit like Hirst or Fisk but it's hard to tell. Perhaps Adam may know it?

Thanks for looking anyway Anne - it's a toughie, I can't see anything at all (it's no clearer in the 'flesh').  Hopefully someone will happen along at some point who recognises it.

Hubby's just been studying it and he thinks the second word is 'Glass' (makes sense!) - and he thinks it might say 'First Glass' - I'll Google that and see what I can find.

Edit

I've no idea if this company is responsible for my vase but Googling 'First Glass' brought me to the following website - what absolutely STUNNING glass - so colourful they're almost psychedelic - I really like this stuff so, even if I don't manage to positively attribute my vase, it's helped me stumble upon this particular talent..

Right - mystery solved - I'm almost 100% certain this vase is by First Glass - having read the Biog they're very close to me geographically and there are some scent bottles photographed on the site that have the same knobbly pulled feature as my vase.  How exciting - I'm well pleased, you can tell it's a quality piece.

Well done Pip

I googled First Glass earlier on and all I came up with were American makers of windshields and double glazing  :-[

Thanks Della - I went past all the windshield manufacturers ...  Here's a link to the scent bottles which have the exact same knobbly detail as my vase (and one of them is in the same colour too).
