Murano bird
« on: July 31, 2007, 07:01:28 AM »
This auction is a similar one to my, Large Sommerso Style Fish , which has been moved to the glass section, listed as Murano, with the same technique as mine.

Anyone have any ideas who it's by?
Sandra

I'm afraid the bird also has the same far eastern origins IMHO. Looks far too angular and poorly made for a Murano piece. Even the generic pieces look superior to these.
