Isles of Scilly art glass
« on: August 01, 2007, 03:00:30 PM »
I have recently seen a series of small vases at an auction with labels for Isles of Scilly Glass.  One is scratch marked DH 1978, and two others have the same initials painted on the base.  Anyone know something about this glassworks, Google searching does not seem to be doing the trick.

Rather than DH could it be OH because a lady called Oriel Hicks runs the Phoenix Stained Glass Studio in the Isles of Scilly.  Apparently (I've not seen any of her work and the website seems to be down at the moment) she makes windows and panels as well as smaller Tiffany and fused glass items.
