Murano Paperweight I think..
« on: August 30, 2007, 08:34:40 AM »
PW's are not my thing. However I got this pretty item and after looking in my paperweight book at canes I think it's Murano. Canes studded on gold interior with small controlled bubbled over it. Remains of label on bottom. So is it definitely Murano and just generic or maybe able to pin down to factory. Thanks Pat.

Definitely Murano, specifically, Fratelli Toso. I particularly like it when they load them with aventurine like that.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.
