Berndt, Flygfors.
« on: August 28, 2007, 02:36:43 PM »
Hello,  I am wondering if I can glean more info. on a vase I have owned for some time, from the experts?.   It is a mid to dark green colour, lozenge shaped, with a square opening at the top, with the figure of a modern art type bull, raised on the side.  It is signed on the base with Flygfors  60,  on one side, and Berndt on the other.  Would this be 1960? and any idea of the value. [ I paid quite a lot, as I liked it ].
   Best regards,  John.

Hi John,
60 will be the production year and the designer will be Wiktor Berndt.
Value, well, I don't have a clue and wouldn't.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

I have a friend who has a large collection of Wiktor Berndts work for Flygsfors and the prices generally range from around £40 up to £200 for his rarer pieces suck as his totem vase. The majority of his work generally found come from his tribal range.
Hope this helps
Paul
