Amethyst bark vase - ID = Ingrid glass candleholder
« on: September 10, 2007, 02:17:02 PM »
Pretty little bark vase, plummy amethyst, I wondered if the flattish top shape meant it was a Hyacinth vase?

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Thanks!

Ingrid glass candle holder - though it is misunderstood as a bulb vase by some.  I managed to grow a hyacinth in one of these last year - but as soon as the heavy flower gets going you will notice there is insufficient support for the bulb.

Thanks Ivo!

Maybe it is only suitable for a STUNTED hyacinth?
Thank you very much!
