Vase I/D help required
« on: September 16, 2007, 03:57:04 PM »
Hi Folks,
i am out of my comfort zone with this one, my thing is iridescent Bohemian and this vase was given to me the other day. It stands 6 7/8" tall and is what i would call modern, it has wear on the bottom and for want of a file name to call it when i saved the pics i called it scandi but i am probably totally wrong. Any idea of a maker and date. Cheers Pwayne.

Colour-wise it looks like Caithness, but I could be wrong.

Have a look at PKay6's collection, where he has one that looks the same shape/size
and his is attributed to Caithness. (Scroll down to Caithness section.)

Shape wise it is like Caithness as well. It's called barrel-shaped, I do believe.
