I'm not sure what this is. It's something the Oxfam shop's given me - amazing they didn't throw it out really, they're pretty canny there!
It's a shade over 5" in length, has a 'quilted diamond' shape to the upper part, and the base is shiny (well, with wear) and glossy.
Is it a pavement light? Can't think what else it can be. It's not good enough quality to be a lens of anykind, and the glass is yellowy...any ideas?

Looks like a typical sort of pavement light pattern, like
this one
from Luxcrete. Yours seems a little on a thin-walled side though, it should be pretty heavy glass. You didn't include an underside shot, so hard to be sure. Perhaps an architectural block for walls, non-load-bearing? That sort of pattern is used in glass blocks to obscure the view, like
these
new ones. --ian

Ian, my husband suggested a deck light for on a boat, after seeing something like it on an old ship once. I don't even remember it, but he saw Max's pic and said it reminded him.
Are deck lights like pavement lights? :?

Leni & Ian thank you.
Well, it could be a deck light - I don't know, I'll have to keep an open mind on that one!
It does look like Ian's pic of some non-loadbearing wall lights though, although the rubber flangey bit has come off...also they seem to have a yellow hue, which this one does.
lol! I have to price it now - anyone want it? Name your price!
