I thought I would post this dish with label, which I found today.

(http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10026/thumb_leaft.jpg)(http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10026/thumb_leafs.jpg)(http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10026/thumb_leafl.jpg)

Hopefully of use to someone one day. I would never have tabbed this one as being Murano, had it not had a label.

Hi I've just posted a picture of this in relation to another thread on the 1950's Brussels Fair vase - it's on my green Flavio Poli ... I'll post it here also if it helps

Peter/Anne can one of you repost the gold scroll label on the first page of this thread. It's gone walkies. Chris - a new member - has a silver scroll. I'll ask him to post it here.

Perhaps this label was posted previously on one of the links that disappeared.  I found it on a 12" bowl with a silver and gold interior design that is about as sad an example of the glass makers art as I have seen in many a moon.  The glass if fine, if pedestrian.  The painting, shows a decided lack of talent and taste.

Picked up this vase today with a nice sticker. Thought I'd add it to the thread. What I really found interesting about this vase is that is also has a S.S. Kresge sticker on the bottom. S.S. Kresge was a discount store here in the U.S. that later turned into K-Mart stores we have today. I know this vase must be vintage since S.S. Kresge is long gone! Vase stands 7 1/2" high. Sticker reads "GENUINE VENETIAN GLASS MADE IN MURANO ITALY" Cenedese?

I thought you might like to see this dichroic glass bud vase with a Murano sticker.  It is approximately 11" (275mm) tall. A pink/lilac colour which turns blue under fluorescent light.  The label is a pale gold colour and sadly quite worn.

Hi Anne, I added the label but don't see in on the 05 Murano 101 Labels pages. Did I do something wrong? I see it on the Album list.

Thanks Cathy, it is there. (I wonder if you're viewing a cached version of the page? Try holding down the Shift key and pressing the refresh / reload option in your browser... you should see it then.)

Anyhow, it is here safe and sound:

Again, many thanks.  Smiley

Hi Cathy, I always thought that the "Genuine Venetian Glass" labels were recent.  Shocked

Here's another variation of it, the difference being that it has "Hand Made In Murano" in the centre.

Hi Bubbles, I think I have the same label on this fish.

Thanks Cathy, I love it too!  I just need to get a better image of it, and also one under under fluorescent light to show the blue colour. Also took a look at your site, yum, I just wish I could win the lottery!

Hi Tigerchips, yes it certainly looks the same label although yours looks more silver than gold, but it is probably the light difference.  I wonder when these labels were in use?

Anne,
Thanks for moving the picture of the whole vase from the label album, I'll get the hang of it soon I promise!
