I have added Beth's label to the Lables 101 section of Glass Gallery. Slight variation to the one Svazzo posted a while ago.

Here is a residue of a label on a bowl recently acquired - I have gone all through the labels on the Murano 101 gallery, but all the generic seem to have Murano in the middle, not across the bottom like this one.  Seems to say "made in" around the top (I have got DE left) but nothing else remaining.

does it ring any bells with anyone?

Thanks Sue, great label pic! Did you add it to Murano101 album in GlassGallery as well?  If not, may I do so please?

You are in Murano101 topic Sue, but we uploaded all the label images to the GlassGallery for reference as well (from before we could add pics as attachments to posts.) Sorry if I confused you - I didn't mean to.  :-*

Hi all, Im new here and was lurking threw this thread the other day (not all of it) Anyways I have been hired to sell an estate of lamps, art, and chandeliers(lots of muranos) and here is one label I came across that I didn't see while lurking the other day.  I don't want to promote my sales here but I hope to be able to learn from you good people all about this glass.  As I don't have a clue about it.  But I did learn just by lurking that labels are a good thing... so I hope you won't be offended by dumb questions.

ps  there are about 100 lamps, 3-500 pc of art glass, and at least 12 chandeliers all murano glass. mid century, this guy bought it all as an investment from buisnesses that were going under in the late 70s

I uploaded iit to Murano 101 but there doesnt seem to be anything like it as in capitol italics.

Hi:

I didn't see an SVA label on here so thought I'd add one. It's from a heavily ribbed colourless corroso bowl, which also has a clear plastic Saks Fifth Avenue label on it.

While I'm at it, here's what might be a version of a Galliano Ferro label from the bottom of an opalescent bird. I suppose it's "Galliano Ferro?"
