Scandinavian (?) Lamp
« on: October 01, 2007, 03:35:29 PM »
My first though on spotting this lamp was Lindshammar, probably because of the color.  Unfortunately, the label is just a generic picture of a glass blower with the words "Hand Made Quality."  I still lean toward a Scandinavian origin, although I may well be way off base.  Any thoughts on the subject will be greatly appreciated.

(Clicking on the thumbnail will take the viewer to the first of two photos of the lamp.)

They nicely note the designer too...

designer:
K Leibel/K Andreasson

I bet if listed on eBay under the designer name it would beat the retail price  ;)

Thank you both for the quick identification.  Although it is obviously an inexpensive piece, I like it and think the modernistic design goes well with much of our Scandinavian collection.

IKEA have some very nice designs these days, and I do like that they're highlighting hand made glass
and the designers.

Just remember to stay away from the Parodi vases, they're apparently somewhat dangerous.
