"Irice" Cased Purple & Lavender Vase

Here's a lovely bud vase from my "permanent collection" that's had me  stumped for years.  Cased purple & lavender with satin finish.  The importer label says "Irice" and I'm assuming the piece is from the 1950s.  Any idea who made it?
