Yes!  ;D I just hope they send me my item this time. The last time I bought something there (a really nice looking Murano bird for $5 plus shipping) they said they accidentally "recycled" it. I assume this means they relisted and sold it to someone else.

That's funny, I actually like the color on yours better! More duck-like, I guess.  :) Also, the red/yellow color combo is used so much in Chinese glass, I think that reduces its appeal a little.

Hi,
I bought this example a few months ago that has it's original box and also 'Made in Murano' label .  The signature is not as elaborate as the other duck owned by shadylane78

Regards,
             Patrick. :)

I'm glad this thread came up again. I've learned a bit more since the time it was written. The duck that was posted first was probably made by Fratelli Pitau. There is a little about the ducks and some pictures in the Zoo at https://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/birds-8. Personally I do not know if Archimede Seguso made any of these ducks. They don't really look like their work. I've seen some that have Ferro stickers and some with Pitau stickers, but never any with A. Seguso stickers. If someone has one that has an A. Seguso sticker, I would love to see it. Sometimes books have mistakes and this may be one. I'll be glad to be proved wrong on this one.

Thank you for all the pictures, Patrick. He provided most of the Tour d'Argent duck shots.

It seems (this discussion is older than this board) that the Tour d'Argent handed out souvenir ducks in quite considerable numbers, and switched producers several times. It was thought they were supplied by Seguso at one time, and later by Barbini. I could imagine there are other Murano makers in the duck business too.
